About this RC body
Bent pillars are why a shell sits crooked, and a crooked shell catches a tyre at full compression. They are also the part that goes unnoticed after a roll, because the body hides them. Two posts, a few minutes, and the body line is square again. If the clips have started pulling through, replacing these is cheaper than replacing the shell they are tearing.
Where it sits in the HYPER GO RC car range
The 16281B is part of our Bodies, Bumpers & Trim shelf, which carries 5 parts for the MJX HYPER GO range. Model code 16281B is the number every listing here is keyed to: quote it and the gears, shocks, wheels and bodies that suit this chassis all line up. It is a service part rather than a vehicle, so check the fits row before you order.
Fit and compatibility
This part is listed against H16DR, H16BM. Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.
Living with it
Keep the old shell when you fit a new one. A scuffed body is the right thing to run in the wet and it means a cracked pillar never ends an afternoon.

Questions about the 16281B
- Does it arrive painted?
- Painted, trimmed and with the mounting holes already cut. Four body clips and it is on.
- Will it fit my chassis?
- Check the fits row above. The 1/16 shells are shared across several model codes; the 1/14 parts are not.
- Can I repaint it?
- Use paint made for flexible bodies and key the surface first. Ordinary enamel flakes off at the first landing.
