About this RC body

The lights on our trucks run off the third channel, and this is the assembly that carries them: the bar is moulded into the bumper, so there is nothing to tape to a shell. It is also the first thing to meet a wall, which is the other reason it is on this shelf. Three wires to the receiver and two bolts to the chassis. It fits four of our sixteenth scale cars.

This part is listed against H16GT, H16DR, H16BM, H16SC. Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.

Living with it

Keep the old shell when you fit a new one. A scuffed body is the right thing to run in the wet and it means a cracked pillar never ends an afternoon.

Does it arrive painted?

Painted, trimmed and with the mounting holes already cut. Four body clips and it is on.

Will it fit my chassis?

Check the fits row above. The 1/16 shells are shared across several model codes; the 1/14 parts are not.

Can I repaint it?

Use paint made for flexible bodies and key the surface first. Ordinary enamel flakes off at the first landing.
