About this RC wheel set

Where the 16300 is our general purpose tyre, this pattern has a different block layout, and on loose surfaces that changes how early the truck will take the throttle. Both mount on the twelve millimetre hex and both come glued, so switching is four nuts and nothing else. Keep a set of each if you run both tarmac and dirt — it is cheaper than a second car and makes more difference.

Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.

Living with it

Hose the mud off before it dries and check the wheel nuts after the first run on a new set. Grit between tire and rim is what works a bead loose.
