About this brushless motor
Combining the two keeps a ready to run truck simple and cheap, and for a brushed motor there is nothing to gain from splitting them. If a brushed car has gone dead with a healthy pack and a working servo, this is almost always the part. Keep in mind what the combination costs you later: going brushless means a separate controller and a separate receiver, not a swap of this board.
Where it sits in the HYPER GO RC car range
The RE353 is part of our Motors, ESCs & Radio Gear shelf, which carries 11 parts for the MJX HYPER GO range. Model code RE353 is the number every listing here is keyed to: quote it and the gears, shocks, wheels and bodies that suit this chassis all line up. It is a service part rather than a vehicle, so check the fits row before you order.
Fit and compatibility
This part is listed against H16DR. Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.
Living with it
Electronics fail hot. Blow the heatsink and the fans out after dusty sessions, keep the wires clear of the spur gear, and give the car two minutes between packs in summer.

Questions about the RE353
- Will this fit my HYPER GO RC car?
- Match the model codes in the fits row above against the code stamped on your chassis plate. Brushed and brushless parts are not interchangeable in either direction.
- Does it need setting up?
- No. The 45A speed controls read the cell count when you plug a pack in and set their own cutoff. Receivers are bound with the transmitter held close to the car.
- What if the car powers up but ignores the handset?
- That is almost always a lost binding rather than a failed receiver. Rebind both units together before ordering a replacement.
