About this screw kit
A rounded lock nut or a lost drive pin takes a wheel off the car, and the pin in particular is small enough to vanish into grass the moment it leaves the axle. We bagged the three together because they fail as a group: a worn hex chews a pin, a chewed pin loosens the nut. Keep a set in the box with your wheel wrench. Check the pins whenever the wheels come off.
Where it sits in the HYPER GO RC car range
The KS002 is part of our Screw & Hardware Kits shelf, which carries 3 parts for the MJX HYPER GO range. Model code KS002 is the number every listing here is keyed to: quote it and the gears, shocks, wheels and bodies that suit this chassis all line up. It is a service part rather than a vehicle, so check the fits row before you order.
Fit and compatibility
This part is listed against the chassis named in its title. Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.
Living with it
Press hard on the driver before you turn, and stop as soon as the screw seats. These threads run into plastic and most rounded heads are made by the tool rather than by the load.

Questions about the KS002
- Which chassis do these fasteners suit?
- The model codes in the fits row above. Between the three kits we cover every threaded fastener on the 1/14 and 1/16 cars.
- Are the lock nuts reusable?
- A few times. When a nut spins down the thread under finger pressure the nylon insert has given up and it should be replaced.
- Should I buy one before I need it?
- Yes, and it is the cheapest advice on this site. A rounded screw on a Sunday afternoon costs a weekend otherwise.
