Screws and body clips in one bag — the small parts a chassis loses and nobody stocks.

Model code KS001. Quote it when you order a spare — our part numbers are printed on the bag.

About this screw kit

Every rebuild stalls on the same thing: one screw of the wrong length or a missing clip, with the car in pieces on the bench. This kit is our answer to that, assembled from the sizes our chassis actually use rather than a generic assortment. We keep one open in the pit box and one sealed in the case. Use a driver that fits the head — stripping a screw in a composite chassis is a worse problem than losing one.

Where it sits in the HYPER GO RC car range

The KS001 is part of our Screw & Hardware Kits shelf, which carries 3 parts for the MJX HYPER GO range. Model code KS001 is the number every listing here is keyed to: quote it and the gears, shocks, wheels and bodies that suit this chassis all line up. It is a service part rather than a vehicle, so check the fits row before you order.

Fit and compatibility

This part is listed against the chassis named in its title. Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. If the plate on your car is unreadable, send us a picture with the shell off and we will tell you which version you have.

Living with it

Press hard on the driver before you turn, and stop as soon as the screw seats. These threads run into plastic and most rounded heads are made by the tool rather than by the load.

Questions about the KS001

Which chassis do these fasteners suit?
The model codes in the fits row above. Between the three kits we cover every threaded fastener on the 1/14 and 1/16 cars.
Are the lock nuts reusable?
A few times. When a nut spins down the thread under finger pressure the nylon insert has given up and it should be replaced.
Should I buy one before I need it?
Yes, and it is the cheapest advice on this site. A rounded screw on a Sunday afternoon costs a weekend otherwise.

What drivers say about this one

★★★★★

Must Have

Just what the doctor ordered! A cache a spare parts is handy when inevitable breakdowns occur.

Must have

A must have kit for Hypergo 1/16 scale. Lost many steering link screws from backing out due to hard cornering.
