About this LiPo battery
It takes a USB supply at one end and the balance plug of a three cell pack at the other, which means the pit kit for a weekend away is a power bank and this cable. We keep it listed separately because our 3S packs outlive the car they came with — chassis get replaced, cells get kept. Match the cell count: a three cell lead on a two cell pack is as wrong as the other way round.

Those codes are stamped on the chassis plate under the body; photographs are a poor guide at this scale, because neighbouring versions differ by a couple of millimetres and look identical. Living with it
Charge this pack with the cable made for its cell count, never in the car, and let it cool for twenty minutes after a run. Store it at about half charge if it is going in a drawer.

- Can I charge it from a wall adapter?
- Through the matched USB charging cable, yes. Do not use a charger intended for a different cell count — the cables are specific for a reason.
- How do I know when it is finished?
- When the case swells, when it will not sit flat, or when run time has fallen by a third from new. None of those is repairable.
